Military College Sui
The former Chief of Army Staff, General(R) Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Nishan - e - Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Imtiaz, inaugurated Military College Sui (MCS) on 3rd January 2011 as a sequel to Army’s role in nation building. The Chief of Army Staff announced the establishment of Pakistan Educational City Sui that includes MCS, FGEI, BPS, BITE and WVC to provide Balochi youth equal opportunities so as to bring them in the national main stream and make them at par with the students of other regions of the country.
The college functions under the auspices of Inspector General Training & Evaluation Branch / Human Resource Development Directorate, General Headquarters Rawalpindi. The college is headed by the Commandant and is organized into two wings i.e. Academic and Administrative. The academic wing is headed by the Deputy Commandant / Chief Instructor who is assisted by heads of departments and an experienced / qualified faculty. The administrative wing is headed by Assistant Adjutant &Quarter Master General (AA & QMG) and is responsible for the administrative matters. First entry of class IX joined on 18th Apr 2011 and Chief of Army Staff graced the occasion as Chief Guest and the second entry i.e. XI class joined the college on 30 Sep 2011.
Military College Sui is entrusted to provide quality education and wholesome training to the youth especially of Balochistan in order to make them responsible citizens, dynamic future leaders, versatile professionals with a view to bringing them in the national mainstream. The College focuses at preparing these cadets to join Pakistan Military Academy and serve Pak Army.
(1) To provide sound education from VIII to XII class to all cadets.
(2) To act as feeder institution for preparing cadets for commissioned ranks in the defense forces.
(3) To impart education through the English medium and character training on the lines of public schools by requiring the students to live in the College Campus, so that their mental, moral and physical development takes place under the direct supervision of the staff.
