Faculty Refresher Cadre – I

A faculty refresher training workshop for 15 Officers was organized at MCSB from Jun 24 to 29, 2024. The training session commenced on June 24, 2024, with opening remarks by the Acting Deputy Commandant Lt Col Muhammad Ali Aslam, during which he emphasized the importance of the refresher cadre and the necessity of on-the-job training. Throughout the daily training sessions, senior faculty members delivered lectures on various topics, encompassing educational psychology, educational philosophy, organizational behavior, different educational theories and revival of military culture. A two-hour written test, worth 75 marks, was also conducted at the end of refresher cadre to assess and evaluate the officers’ assimilation of the material. Following the examination, the Commandant Brigadier Wasim Qasir delivered closing remarks in which he emphasized the significance of the faculty refresher cadre. He advised the officers to stay updated with modern trends in their respective subjects and maintain current subject knowledge.
