Establishment of Fabrication Lab (FABLAB) in Collaboration with Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF)

A new project of establishment of Fablab, work has been completed in collaboration with PSF who gave Rs 1 Million for infrastructure work. A large room in new Academic Block was selected for establishment of lab. The main infrastructure work of lab includes roof ceiling, construction of podium, wall mounted cabinet,  slabs work stations, paint/ distemper and polishing of furniture/ cabinet. As per coordinated with PSF, they shall provide laser cutting printer & other miscellaneous equipment that will be used for teaching cadets about designing of 3D models, miniature model designing & 3D printing. It is worth mentioning that only 10 set ups in Pakistan have been given funds. MCSB through officers’ coordination and liasion got funds.
