Quaid Day Celebration at MCSB
Quaid Day was observed with patriotic zeal at MCSB, where the institution commemorated the 147th birthday anniversary of Pakistan’s founder, Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Brigadier Wasim Qasir, Commandant MCSB, graced the occasion as the esteemed chief guest.
The ceremony commenced with an impactful English speech by Cadet Habib Ullah of Class X, offering insights into Quaid’s life and principles. Following this, Cadet Sanawar from Class XI delivered an Urdu speech, highlighting Quaid’s persistent struggles for a separate homeland. The event was further enriched by patriotic renditions, including a National Song by Cadet Sibtain and team, as well as another presentation by Cadet Ali Raza and team.
A concise documentary on Quaid’s biography captivated the audience, providing a visual narrative of key moments in his life. The proceedings concluded with Commandant Brigadier Wasim Qasir presenting prizes to outstanding cadets during the Annual Parents Day 2023. College Prefect Cadet Muhammad Javed received recognition for the overall best performance, while Cadet Muhammad Ali was acknowledged for his portrait of the chief guest, Governor of Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar.
The Commandant extended commendation to the champion house, Sher Shah House, and honored Major Amjad Ojla as the best House Master. In his concluding remarks, Brigadier Wasim Qasir underscored the significance of national unity and encouraged cadets to prioritize their academic pursuits. The event concluded with a formal group photo capturing the memorable moments shared between the chief guest and the participating cadets.
