Pakistan Day-2024 Celebrations in MCSB
Pakistan Day – 23rd of March, holds immense historical significance as it marks the adoption of the Lahore Resolution in 1940, a pivotal moment in the journey towards Pakistan’s independence. This year, the national day was commemorated with great zeal and patriotism at Military College Sui Balochistan, where all cadets came together to honor the political sacrifices of our forefathers.
The day commenced with Quran Khawani in College masjid, after the fajar prayer. All faculty members and cadets participated and prayed for the prosperity and safety of the dear motherland. Later in the day, a function was held in Moeed Hall. Deputy Commandant MCSB, Colonel Muhammad Ilyas graced the event as the cheif guest where he witnessed a vibrant display of talent, dedication, and reverence for Pakistan’s rich history. Captain Waheed, Adjutant, read out the COAS’ special message on this auspicious occasion. Later on, Cadets of 8th Class presented national songs and speeches, all aimed at celebrating the spirit of unity and determination that defines Pakistan. A documentary was also shown to the audience which depicted the struggle for independence, led by our father of the nation, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. As the event concluded the atmosphere was filled with a sense of unity and national pride, echoing the sentiments of “Unity, Faith, Discipline”.
