Baloch Culture Day Celebration – 2 March 2025
Pakistan is home to one of the most diverse cultural and social fabrics, comprising numerous ethnic and religious groups practicing their own traditions. Balochistan, the largest province in terms of area, holds a significant place in Pakistan’s cultural heritage. Every year, 2nd March is celebrated as Baloch Culture Day to honor and showcase the rich Baloch traditions.
In line with this, MCSB observed Baloch Culture Day on 2 March 2025, albeit in a simpler manner due to Ramzan. The celebration primarily focused on highlighting the cultural essence through a symbolic gathering and a traditional walk.
The day commenced with dress competition among the College civil staff, which was followed by a group photo session where all faculty members and civilian employees of the region dressed in traditional Baloch attire assembled to capture the spirit of the occasion.
Following the photo session, a Baloch Culture Day walk was organized, beginning from Haider House and proceeding through key locations within the college. The participants, dressed in traditional attire, walked from Haider House to the Academic Block, then to Yadgar Chowk, continuing to Liaqat House, and finally culminating at the Parade Ground.
The event served as a tribute to the rich history, traditions, and values of the Baloch community, reaffirming the college’s commitment to national integration, diversity, and cultural harmony.
