Cricket Match – Officers XI vs Cadets XI

On September 22, 2023, an exhilarating flood light cricket competition between Officers-XI and Cadets-XI was played at FC Cricket Ground. Brigadier Wasim Qasir, Commandant MCSB, led the Cadets-XI, while Lieutenant Colonel Malik Abid Hussain Khokhar, GSO-I (Training) was the team captain of Officers-XI. The complete college cadets turned out as enthusiastic spectators. Officers’ team was also fortified with the participation of Brigadier Hafiz Shahid Nadeem Lashari (Sector Commander Headquarters FC (South)) and Colonel Nadeem (Commandant Sui Rifles). The highlight of the day was Major Tahir’s remarkable performance, scoring an unbeaten 111 runs with towering sixes, earning him the well-deserved title of Man of the Match. Thus Officer-XI won the man with an extraordinary lead of 100 runs. It was a thrilled night filled with sportsmanship and enjoyment for everyone in attendance. On culmination of the match, Commandant MCSB gave away prizes to the winners and runner up teams.
