Inter-Wing and Inter-House Cross Country Competition 2023-24 at MCSB

The Inter-Wing and Inter-House Cross Country Competition 2023-24 was held in MCSB on 6 November 2023 under the patronage of the Chief Guest, Brigadier Wasim Qasir, Commandant MCSB.  The competition was measured up to the high standard of the spirit of sportsmanship, dedication and exceptional athletic ability. 86 x  Cadets participated from each house in the competition. The competition consisted of a challenging 5 x  kilometers cross country run. The distance pushed the cadets to their limits, demanding endurance and resilience. 

In the Junior House category, Cadet Aimal Khan, representing Bravo Wing of Iqbal House, secured the 1st Individual Position. While Cadet Ruman Hamid and Cadet Ali Hamza of Alpha wing secured second and third positions respectively. Overall, Alpha Wing was declared the winner of the Inter-Wing Cross Country  Competition 2023-24.

In the senior houses category, Cadet Awais Mushtaq,(1st year of Jinnah House) was awarded the 1st Individual Position and recognized as “The Gazelle of MCSB.” Cadet Umer (1st Year Sher Shah House) secured the second position and Cadet Muhammad Faheem (2nd Year, Liaqat House) stood third. Haider House Stood first , by leaving Liaqat House, Jinnah House and Sher Shah House to second, third and fourth positions respectively. The chief guest, Brigadier Wasim Qasir, Commandant MCSB acknowledged the participants’ excellent efforts and dedication. The event served as a testament to the discipline, character and endurance of our cadets, instilling values of sportsmanship and the pursuit of excellence.
