IQBAL DAY CELEBRATION AT MCSB
Iqbal Day was celebrated at Military College Sui Balochistan (MCSB) with full zeal and zest to pay tribute to the visionary poet and philosopher, Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Deputy Commandant MCSB, Colonel Dr. Muhammad Illyas graced the occasion as the chief guest. The event consisted of some inspiring speeches, kalam-e-Iqbal and a thought-provoking documentary that beautifully encapsulated Iqbal’s life and his profound impact on our nation.
After impressive recitation of the Holy Quran by Cadet Yasir (Class XI, Sher Shah House), Cadet Sanawar (Class XI, Sher Shah House) and Cadet Badshah Khan (Class XI, Jinnah House) delivered eloquent speeches that delved into the life, thoughts, and contributions of Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Later on, Cadet Ahtisham (Class X, Sher Shah House) brought a poem by Iqbal to life by singing it in a melodious way. It was followed by a performance of Kalam E Iqbal by the cadets of first-year class (Cadet Sibtain, Cadet Ibrahim, Cadet Umer, Cadet Osama and Cadet Faheem). President Litarary Society cadet Iftikhar (Class XII, Liaqat House) and Cadet Ali Raza (Class X, Sher Shah House) read a few verses from Allama Iqbal’s Shikwa and Jawab E Shikwa, respectively. A short Documentary on Iqbal’s life and his philosophical work was also played at the end.
In his final remarks, the chief guest laid emphasis on the importance of truthfulness , justice, valor and moral righteousness after reciting one of the couplets of Iqbal.

Iqbal Day celebration at MCSB served as a testament to the enduring relevance of Allama Muhammad Iqbal’s ideas and philosophy. It instilled a sense of patriotism, self-belief, and unity among the cadets.
